Hi Tempest team,
I have two small feedback items about the current UX.
1. Vault password error feedback
When the Tempest Vault password is entered incorrectly, the current feedback is a bit too subtle.
It seems that the input border turns red, but it is easy to miss. It would be helpful if the app could provide stronger feedback, for example:
- briefly shaking the password input field
- showing a clear “Incorrect password” message
- keeping the red border, but adding an animation or warning icon
The main issue is that sometimes I’m not sure whether I typed the password incorrectly this time, or whether I forgot to refresh/reload and the app is still using the previous state.
A clearer error indication would make the vault unlock flow easier to understand.
2. “Remember me” does not seem to work on web login
Also, on the web login page, the “Remember me” option does not seem to work as expected.
Even after selecting “Remember me”, I still need to log in again later. It feels like the login session is not being preserved.
Expected behavior:
- after checking “Remember me”, the web session should stay signed in for a reasonable period
- reopening the browser or revisiting the site should not immediately require logging in again
Current behavior:
- “Remember me” is selected during login
- but I still get logged out and have to sign in again
